MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

By default, UltraTax CS prints returns and other documents for the open client only. Follow these steps to select clients other than or in addition to the open client.

  1. From the File menu, choose Print Returns, Print Extensions, or Print Organizers.
  2. If using the Print Returns dialog, select the item (for example, Tax Return) that you want to print.
  3. Click the Clients button.
  4. In the left pane of the dialog, highlight the client or clients whose items you want to print.
  5. Click the Select button. The clients you have chosen appear in the right pane of the dialog.
  6. Click OK to return to the Print Returns, Print Extensions, or Print Organizers dialog.


  • To remove a client from the print list, click the client's name in the right pane of the dialog then click the Remove button.
  • Use the Focus group box to limit the list of available clients to one or more entity types, to those assigned to a specific preparer or staff member, and/or to those whose returns have not been printed.
