MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

To remove UltraTax CS from your computer or from the network, follow the steps that apply to the appropriate operating system.

Note: Uninstalling UltraTax CS does not delete UltraTax CS client data.

Windows 7

  1. Click the Start button on the Windows task bar, then choose Control Panel.
  2. Click the Programs and Features icon. If you are using Category View, click Programs and then select the Programs and Features option.
  3. In the list of applications installed, right-click 2017 UltraTax CS.
  4. Click the Uninstall/Change option, then follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

Windows 8 and Windows 10

  1. Right-click the lower-left corner of the desktop, then select Control Panel.
  2. Click the Programs and Features icon. If you are using Category View, click Programs and then select the Programs and Features option.
  3. In the list of applications installed, right-click 2017 UltraTax CS.
  4. Click the Uninstall/Change option, then follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
