MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

Note: Follow these steps only if you are using advanced security options, rather than the standard options.

To remove a user ID from UltraTax CS, or to remove a user's ability to access the application, follow these steps.

  1. Choose Setup > Security, enter the master password, and click the Users tab.
  2. In the list of users, highlight the user you want to delete.
  3. Click the Delete User button.
  4. Click either the Delete <user> from UltraTax CS or Do not allow <user> to run UltraTax CS. Place this user in the $Unauthorized Users group option.
  5. Click OK to close the Delete User Options dialog.

Note: You cannot delete your own user ID.
