MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

You can add custom links to external websites and local or network files to the Custom Links section of the UltraTax CS Home Page.

To add custom links to the Home Page, do the following:

  1. Choose Setup > User Preferences.
  2. Click the Home Page tab.
  3. Click the Custom Links button.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Enter the name of the link in the Description field.
  6. Click the Web URL option to enter a link to an external website, or click the File option to enter a link to a local or network file.
  7. Enter the web address or the file location in the field next to the Web URL / File option.
  8. Click the Browse button for the Icon field, select an icon, and click OK.

    Note: If you do not select an icon, UltraTax CS selects an icon for your custom link and displays the icon in the Icon field.

  9. Click Enter.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click OK to close the User Preferences dialog.

The icons for all custom links display in the left pane of the Home Page.

Note: You can add up to 10 custom links to the UltraTax CS Home Page.
