MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

If you are using the UltraTax CS status system to track the progress of clients during processing, you may want to have UltraTax CS open the Log Event dialog when closing a client. Complete these steps to set this option in UltraTax CS.

  1. From the Setup menu, choose User Preferences.
  2. Click the Misc tab.
  3. If it is not already marked, mark the Display the Log Event dialog when a client is closed checkbox.
  4. Click OK.

Tip: You can also display the Log Event dialog when closing a client by marking the Present this dialog when closing a client checkbox in the Utilities > Client Status > Log Event tab.
