Note: Before you begin, verify that the As required option is selected for the Shareholder Package, Partner Package, Beneficiary Package, or Participant Package in the client print collation in the Return Collation dialog.

  1. With the client's return open, choose File > Print Returns.
  2. Mark the Client copy checkbox.
  3. Click the Options button.
  4. Click the Selected Pages tab.
  5. Click the Unmark All button.
  6. Mark all Shareholder Package, Partner Package, Beneficiary Package, or Participant Package checkboxes you want to print with the return. If you want to print the shareholder package, partner package, beneficiary package, or participant package for all shareholders, partners, beneficiaries, or participants, skip to step 10.

Note: The shareholder package, partner package, or beneficiary package are listed separately for the federal return and for each state attached to the return. Select each package that you want to print.

  7. Click the Selected Packages tab.
  8. Mark the checkbox for each shareholder, partner, beneficiary, or participant whose package you want to print, and then click OK to close the Print Options dialog.
  9. Mark the appropriate checkboxes (PaperElectronic delivery, and/or FileCabinet CS, if licensed) to determine the destination of the printed package.

Note: If you are licensed for FileCabinet CS and plan to send Schedule K-1 packages to your clients via email, you must send the packages to separate folders in FileCabinet CS before you can distribute them to recipients via email. See the Related topics below for more information.

  10. Click the Print (or To Cabinet) button.
