Can I electronically file Form 5500-EZ?

Answer

Form 5500-EZ cannot be electronically filed. Certain one-participant plans that would otherwise file Form 5500-EZ are eligible to file Form 5500-SF and must electronically file the form with EFAST2, rather than paper filing a Form 5500-EZ with the IRS. A one-participant plan that is not eligible to file Form 5500-SF must paper file Form 5500-EZ with the IRS.
