Question

Why isn't the method used for intercompany pricing rules marked on the first page of the return?

Answer

UltraTax/1120 automatically marks the box next to the 50-50 combined taxable income method or 4% gross receipts method on page 1 when the taxable income determined under that method is equal to 25% or more of gross income reported on Schedule B. To indicate the Section 482 method was used, enter X in the corresponding field on Screen DISC.
