Some activity folders, such as a 1040 client's Business folder, can have more than one activity associated with it. Activities within such folders are identified by a unit number (from 1 to 250) so you can easily distinguish among multiple units.

When you select a folder that can have more than one activity associated with it, Fixed Assets CS opens the Activities dialog so that you may enter information to identify this activity and distinguish it from others in the same folder.

However, the 1065 Business folder (Page 1 depreciation) is an exception to this. It is a multi-activity folder but clicking it won't automatically open the Activities dialog. To do so, choose Setup > Activities.
