Question

Why aren't the total unreimbursed qualified medical expenses transferring to Schedule A as a medical expense deduction?

Answer

You cannot take a deduction on Schedule A for any amount that you include in the All distributions were used to pay unreimbursed qualified medical expenses and Amount of unreimbursed qualified medical expenses if less than gross distribution fields in Screen 1099SA.
