Error

Taxpayer TIN in the Return Header must not be the same as a TIN of a previously accepted electronic return for the return type and tax period indicated in the tax return. (value #########, rule R0000-902-01)

Note: The value represents the taxpayer SSN causing the rejection.

Solution

Verify that the taxpayer identification number was entered correctly. If the TIN was entered correctly, then you will have to file the return on paper with Form 8948. You can contact the IRS Identity Protection Unit at 1-800-908-4490.
