Question

I want to indicate the rental percentage for one or two rental expenses. How can I do this without overriding on the form?

Answer

UltraTax/1040 provides two force options regarding rental percentages. You can use the Personal use percentage (Force) field to override the calculated percent on all expenses except advertising and management fees. To apply a different percentage to only one expense, use the Percentage fields located next to the amount fields in Screen Rent. Percentage fields are provided for each expense and are used to force a specific percentage. Use these fields if you want to report less than 100 percent of advertising or management fees.
