Question
How do I enter winnings from state lotteries?
Answer
If a W-2G was issued, enter the amount in Screen W2G, enter the postal code in the State field, and, if applicable, enter 2 in the State use field. If a W-2G was not issued, enter information in the Other income statement dialog in Screen Income, and enter 2 for State lottery in the Fed code field.
