• Taxpayer Identification Number (SSN or EIN) - Enter numbers only, without any dashes. For example, in a 1040 client organizer, enter an SSN of 111-22-3333 as 111223333. For a business organizer, enter an EIN of 11-1223333 as 111223333.

  UltraTax/1040 Organizer only: If the Require a password to display SSNs checkbox is marked in the Setup > Security tab, we recommend that you do not use the SSN as a component of the email organizer password. View important information about masking SSNs.

  Note: You cannot use the SSN as the password when Applied for, Amish, Foreign US, or W-7 attached is entered as the SSN.

• Phone number - Enter only the last seven digits of the phone number; do not include the area code. For example, enter a telephone number of 800-555-1040 as 5551040.
• Zip code - Enter only the first five digits of the zip code. For example, enter a zip code of 92008-2195 as 92008.
• Combination of fields - If more than one checkbox is chosen to generate the password, use the + character to separate each piece of information. For example, if the password consists of the phone number (800-555-1040), zip code (92008-2195), and SSN for a 1040 organizer (111-22-3333) or EIN for a business organizer (11-1223333), enter the password as 111223333+5551040+92008.
