S Corporation members of a unitary group are able to share their data to Combined C and S Corporations. To store the unitary member’s information, enter the designated agent corporation’s EIN in the Unitary Return group box in File > Client Properties > Illinois tab. Once the designated agent corporation’s EIN is entered in the Client Properties dialog, the unitary member’s tax return must be print previewed. After the print preview, open the designated agent corporation’s return, and open the Illinois input screens. The dialog will open listing the units and amounts to import to the unitary input screens.

Note: Before unitary member information data can be shared, create the designated agent Combined C or S Corporation, mark the Designated Agent checkbox in File > Client Properties > Illinois tab in the Unitary group box, and print preview the return.
