New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

If you are using the data sharing feature, use this dialog to learn how data is being shared among different clients' data and to view current data values in various categories. You can use the TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) list at the top of this dialog to view all TINs contained in the current client's data and see the category of data (such as Taxpayer or W-2) and the name associated with each TIN in the list. The Other Clients with TIN tab contains information about each of your clients whose data contains the TIN selected in the list above, and the Current Client Data from Category tab contains information about the current values in the category selected in the TIN list.

Note: To share data with other applications (such as Accounting CS, Creative Solutions Accounting, or Practice CS), specify the correct UltraTax CS data location (for example C:\WINCSI\UT14DATA) from within the appropriate application. For more information, see the help in the relevant application.

To open this dialog, choose Utilities > Data Sharing > Relationships.

Tip: For more information on the data sharing feature in UltraTax CS, see the Data sharing overview.
