How do I generate a blank Client Organizer in UltraTax CS?

Prior to printing, you may want to review the items included in the Blank Client Organizer. To add or remove items in the print collation, choose Setup > 1040 Individual > Organizer > Organizer.

Follow the steps outlined below to print a blank Client Organizer (not client specific).

Note: If you would like to print a blank Client Organizer for a specific client, follow the second set of steps below. The first set of steps does not print a blank Client Organizer for a specific client.

  1. In UltraTax CS, choose Utilities > Blank Forms/Input Screens.
  2. Select 1040/U.S. Organizer from the Product drop-down list.
  3. Click Options to modify what prints.

    Note: All State Organizer pages print by default, so you will want to click Options to turn off those pages.

  4. Click Print when ready for the output.

Follow the steps outlined below to print a blank Client Organizer for a specific client.

  1. Open your client in UltraTax CS.
  2. Choose View > Client Organizer.
  3. Access Screen Contact, located under the General folder.
  4. Mark the Print blank client organizer (For clients who do not have proforma'd information) checkbox. You can select this feature to print a blank client organizer or to send a blank electronic organizer to your new clients who do not have proforma'd or pre-existing data. This includes e-mailing a pdf of the organizer or printing it to the web.

    Note: This option can be set globally for all new 1040 clients or 1040 clients converted from another tax software vendor. Choose Setup > 1040 Individual > Organizer and mark the Print blank Client Organizer checkbox in the New client options group box.
