UltraTax CS: Workstation setup (desktop setup)

If you installed UltraTax CS on a network, we recommend you run a desktop setup on each workstation to add UltraTax CS to its Start menu and to install a shortcut icon.

To run the desktop setup program from each workstation, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Close all open programs, including non-CS applications.
  2. Open the Windows Explorer and navigate to X:\WinCSI\UTYY\Desktop, where X represents the drive on which UltraTax CS is installed and YY represents the year of the program.
  3. Right-click on the Setup.exe and choose Run as administrator.
