UltraTax CS enables you to print client documents as you print returns. What follows is a suggested method for printing client documents.

1. By default, UltraTax CS prints client documents as determined in the Return Collation dialog. If applicable, proforma the tax return print collations you used in the prior year. Whether or not you proforma, verify or edit your print collation.
2. If applicable, determine how you want the following items to print within the documents.
   • Print transmittal letters and filing instructions on the same page.
   • Print federal and state filing instructions on the same page.
   • Customizing client documents: custom paragraphs.
3. Decide if you want to print the client ID, date, time, and/or page number on client documents or print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper.
4. Print the returns.
5. Store documents in FileCabinet CS, File Drawer, or GoFileRoom.
