Once the facsimile forms are complete, you can export the data to UltraTax CS and accept it into your 1040 client data files via the data sharing feature.

This window shows a series of tabs which display the form facsimiles available in the UltraTax CS Source Data Entry utility. To open the facsimile of a source document, click the appropriate tab, and then click the icon of the form in the window. You can use the arrow keys to highlight the desired form and press Enter, or you can press the underlined "hot key" character for the desired form. In addition, you can choose the desired form name from the View menu.

To open the UltraTax CS Source Data Entry window, double-click the UltraTax CS Source Data Entry icon on your Windows desktop or choose Utilities > UltraTax CS Source Data Entry from within UltraTax CS.

Fields & buttons

Form facsimiles duplicate the contents of the forms that your clients submit. To use the facsimile forms, enter the data in the Source Data Entry fields exactly as it appears in the original source document.

Note: Fields that are not required or not included in data sharing may be disabled.
