2017 Year-End Workflow and Best Practices: Accounting CS

This lecture-style class, designed for new and experienced users, covers timesaving features in Accounting CS to speed year-end processing. We’ll show you import methods to quickly populate client data and code it properly for financial statement and tax return preparation. We’ll demonstrate how to build an efficient on-screen review process with the Analyze Account Activity tool. We’ll also demonstrate the additional efficiencies gained by full integration with the CS Professional Suite and discuss implementation of IRS guidelines for safeguarding data. No advance preparation is needed for this class. A high-speed Internet connection is required. Target Audience: Professional Staff.

Course Objectives:

• Import chart of account and trial balance information through a spreadsheet import
• Assign tax coding for integration with UltraTax CS using account grouping and standard account mapping
