2024 Year-End Update and Productivity Training: SurePrep1040SCAN Best Practices

Level: Basic

This course was designed to help answer questions related to practical use of 1040SCAN. This class is meant to be a complete review of the best practices and processes of utilizing any level of 1040SCAN. First participants will learn about settings that impact the Review Wizards and understand the recommended best practices surrounding those settings. Then we will look at all the potential Review Wizards and discuss why they would appear, how to correctly handle them, and what the impact is to the documents once the data is exported, and documents have been organized in the binder. Once the Review Wizards are complete, the participants will be taken through the navigation of SPbinder to understand some best practice and basic functionality of the binder. At the conclusion of this session, participants should understand the best practices for creating new binders and handling Review Wizards and understanding the variables that come with those wizards. Participants will also have a basic understanding of the tools available in SPbinder with a focus on the most used and the best practices for preparing and reviewing using the binder workpapers.

This course is eligible for 2.0 credits of NASBA CPE in the field of study Computer Software and Applications - Non- Technical.
