Recommended Internet Explorer settings for CS Professional Suite applications

When using Thomson Reuters applications, we recommend the following Internet Explorer settings:

  • 128-bit encryption (To check encryption, open Internet Explorer and choose Tools icon > About Internet Explorer and review the cypher strength.)
  • Default security settings (To check security settings, open Internet Explorer and choose Tools icon > Internet Options > Security. Click the Default Level button to reset the security settings to the system defaults.)
  • Default privacy settings (To check privacy settings, open Internet Explorer and choose Tools icon > Internet Options > Privacy. Click the Default button to reset the security settings to the system defaults.)
  • Check for newer versions of the page on every visit to the page (To check this page caching setting, open Internet Explorer and choose Tools icon > Internet Options > General. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Settings button.  In the Check for newer versions of stored pages section, check the Every visit to the page option, and click OK.
  • Uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" in Tools icon > Internet Options > Advanced.  
  • Navigate to your login page and go to Tools icon >Compatibility View Settings. In the popup window, add the current site to compatibility view.
  • In Internet Explorer, click Tools icon > Internet Options > Security, click the Trusted Sites icon and then click the Sites button. Add the following domains to the list of trusted sites:
  • *.thomsonreuters.com/*
  • *.tr.com/*
  • auth.onvio.us
  • gstatic.com
  • connect.creativesolutions.com
  • secureconnect.creativesolutions.com
  • csdownloads.thomsonreuters.com
  • https://secure.netlinksolution.com
