Export of data to QuickBooks Online

  • We have addressed an issue that prevented Accounting CS from exporting data to QuickBooks Online.

General - Payroll

  • Kentucky. The Division of Unemployment Insurance has suspended the Service Capacity Upgrade Fund (SCUF) rate for 2021. Accordingly, the rate now defaults to 0.0% in the Unemployment Rate dialog (accessed via the Payroll Taxes tab of the Setup > Clients screen) for new client records and when new unemployment rate records are added to existing clients.

COVID-19 changes

  • We have added the following variables to the Client > COVID-19 Acts Information section of the variable tree in the Report Designer.
    • Second Quarter 2021 COBRA Number of Individuals
    • Second Quarter 2021 COBRA Premium Credit
    • Third Quarter 2021 COBRA Number of Individuals
    • Third Quarter 2021 COBRA Premium Credit

Accounting CS Payroll, for live payroll processing

In addition to any changes made for general payroll features listed above for after-the-fact payroll processing, the following changes have been made for the live payroll processing features specific to Accounting CS Payroll.

Updates for payroll tax forms, tax agents, and new hire files

  • Tax agents updated

    We have updated the following tax agents.

    State

    • New Mexico. – We have updated the direct deposit information required to produce an ACH credit file for the Taxation and Revenue Department tax agent.

    Local

    • Ohio
      • We have added the following taxes to the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) tax agent:
        • Butler City Tax
        • Gibsonburg City Tax
        • Norton Barberton JEDZ Tax
        • Rittman City Tax
