Accounting CS Payroll, for live payroll processing

In addition to any changes made for general payroll features listed above for after-the-fact payroll processing, the following changes have been made for the live payroll processing features specific to Accounting CS Payroll.

  • We have addressed an issue with partial impounding clients when impounding only direct deposit, where certain payroll checks were unexpectedly using the impound bank account layout, check number, logo, and/or signatures. Details
  • For every release, be sure to check the Updates for payroll tax rates, limits, and minimum wage rates (year to date) article to stay on top of changes that may affect your firm and clients.

Payroll compliance

  • Pennsylvania locals. Effective for tax year 2022, the City of Philadelphia has moved its annual reconciliation to a quarterly filing requirement. All employers are required to electronically file the new quarterly reconciliation Form Philadel_Q. The City of Philadelphia has extended the due date for filing the first quarter returns to July 15, 2022.

Note: We continue to work closely with the City of Philadelphia on implementing the new Form Philadel_Q worksheet and electronic file. We plan to release both on a future application update in time to meet the recently extended filing deadline.
