Use the Rapid tab to enter hours and amounts in a multi-employee view. This view allows quick data entry for groups of employees using the same payroll schedule and for employees working in multiple locations and departments.

Choose Actions > Enter Batch Payroll Checks and then click the Rapid tab.

Fields & buttons

In this grid, the records are grouped by employee and the columns are populated with the most common pay type payroll items active on the current client. You can modify hours and amounts on the Rapid tab prior to entering the batch.

Employees are listed in the grid on a separate line for each location/department combination that is marked as active for them on the Main tab of the Setup > Employees screen.

Note that you can update more detailed information (taxes, deductions, etc.) on the Detail tab.
