Reprinting vendor checks

The following steps should only be used for vendor checks not associated with a payroll liability.

Use the following steps to reprint a vendor check.

  1. Choose Actions > Enter Transactions, and then highlight the transaction in the list.
  2. Click either the Void or Delete button.
  3. A dialog is displayed asking "Are you sure you want to delete the selected transaction?" Click Yes.
  4. Another dialog is displayed asking "Would you like to create a duplicate of the transaction?" Click Yes.
  5. The original transaction is voided or deleted, and a new unprinted check record is created. You can now print the check again.

Notes:

  • The above steps can be used for both printed and handwritten vendor checks.
  • Using the Edit Multiple Transactions option will not prompt you to duplicate the transaction to reprint it. You can use this method to void or reverse multiple checks at the same time; but you will then need to manually re-enter the checks as unprinted.
