Filtering W-2 or 1099 forms for processing

Use the filtering fields to select the W-2 or 1099 forms that you want to process.

W-2 forms

  1. In the Actions > Process Payroll Tax Forms screen, select W-2 from the Form Type drop-down list.
  2. Select the year of the forms that you want to process.
  3. To display only the clients and forms that you want to print, use the filter options to filter by filing method, filed by, jurisdiction, form, or client.
  4. To process only forms that have not yet been processed, select Not Processed from the Status drop-down list.
  5. Click the Refresh button.

    Note: If no clients display in the Form Selection grid after you click the Refresh button, remove some of the filtering criteria and click Refresh again.

1099 forms

  1. In the Actions > Process Payroll Tax Forms screen, select 1099 from the Form Type drop-down list.
  2. Select the 1099 type that you want to process.
  3. Select the year of the forms that you want to process.
  4. To display only the clients and forms that you want to print, use the filter options to filter by filing method, filed by, jurisdiction, form, or client.
  5. To process only forms that have not yet been processed, select Not Processed from the Status drop-down list.
  6. Click the Refresh button.

    Note: If no clients display in the Form Selection grid after you click the Refresh button, remove some of the filtering criteria and click Refresh again.
