Using formulas in the Report and Layout Designers

The use of formulas and functions in the Report Designer and Layout Designer provides you with the flexibility to customize the data in your reports, checks, or forms to meet your needs. You can use the Insert > Formula dialog to create formulas and functions in reports and layouts.
