Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017.

Some processes documented in the Help & How-To Center are no longer applicable, due to the discontinuation of these CSA modules.

When setting up a new Trial Balance CS > Engagement CS client, you will need to complete certain fields in the File > New Client dialog to provide required information.

General Information tab
Choose the General Information tab of the File > New Client dialog or the File > Client Properties dialog to enter or update the client's name, payroll report name, DBA, address, phone number, EIN, salutation for transmittal letters, and security password.

Trial Balance tab
Use the Trial Balance tab of the New Client dialog or the Client Properties dialog to specify setup information for a (non-GL) Trial Balance client. Properties available from this dialog include: processing and period options, years of balances and transactions to save, and choice of entity type.

Note: The Trial Balance tab appears only if the General Ledger module has not been selected for the client. Certain fields will be available only if both Trial Balance CS and Engagement CS have been selected for the client.
