After completing the required information in the New Client dialog and before you can begin processing the client's payroll transactions, there are a number of additional steps to complete in several different setup windows and dialogs - beginning with the Setup > Chart of Accounts dialog.

You can add or edit GL accounts in the Chart of Accounts dialog, and you can use that dialog's F3 command, Change Chart of Accounts Mask, to specify the account-numbering scheme appropriate for the client.
