Important reminder!

Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

For payroll checks with zero net pay, you can specify in the check layout that the a VOID notation be printed across them.

To activate this feature for existing check layouts:

  1. Choose Setup > System Configuration > Layout Editor.
  2. From the Layout Editor window, open the desired check layout.
  3. Choose Insert > Shaded Region > "Void" Check Region, and place the void region over the area of the layout(s) where you would like the word VOID to print.
  4. To preview how the work VOID will appear on the check, choose Layout > Preview Sample.
