Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

To transfer software updates to other, non-network computers where CSA is installed, do the following:

  1. Open CSA on the computer to which you downloaded the update, choose File > Backup, and select Updates from the F4 drop-down list in the first field. Double-click CSA Software Updates to select it and then click the Backup button to save the software update to the designated backup location.
  2. Open CSA on the computer to which you will restore the update, choose File > Restore, and select Updates from the F4 drop-down list in the first field.
  3. To apply the update, choose File > CS Connect or click the CS Connect button on the toolbar. In the CS Connect (CSA) dialog, mark the Apply updates now option and click the Apply Now button.
