Use this procedure to define up to 120 status events to track the progress of your clients during processing. These are global events that can be used for all clients.

  1. Choose Setup > System Configuration > Status Events.
  2. Click the Add button and enter the title of the event you wish to add. (Payroll Processing, for example).
  3. Click the Enter button to save the event, and repeat these steps for each of the events you want to add.

Notes

  • If you are licensed for Practice CS, you can forward a client's invoice information to the application. Highlight a status event in the Events list and mark the With log of this event, forward invoice to Practice CS checkbox. The invoice will be forwarded to Practice CS when the highlighted event is logged for a client.
  • To modify an event in the Status Events dialog, highlight the title of the event and then click the Edit button.
  • To delete an event in the Status Events dialog, highlight the title of the event and then click the Delete button. Deleting an event in this dialog will delete it for all clients.
  • The Due every [n] month(s) on day [n] starting in month [n] option is based on the system date rather than the client's payroll period.
