Accountant's Assistant includes many standard reports that you can use to view or print a variety of information from the client data.
- You can choose how many copies of each report to print at one time, from 1 to 9, and you can easily re-select individual reports for printing.
- You may preview or print any group of reports, or send them to the print spooler for printing at a later time.
- Reports print in the order in which you select them.
Select and print reports for the client data currently in Accountant's Assistant by choosing Print Reports from the File menu, by clicking the Print Reports icon on the shortcut bar or by pressing the CTRL+P shortcut keys. In the Print dialog, double-click each report that you want to select for printing or previewing.
Fields & buttons
Printer (checkbox) and/or Store image in . . .(checkbox)
Mark this checkbox to print the selected reports on the designated printer. (Defaults to your current Windows default printer.)
To change your default printer, click the Printer button.
All reports that have been selected for printing are listed in this pane of the Print dialog.
Notes
- You can select a report multiple times and choose different options for each instance of the report.
- When multiple reports are selected, they will print in selection order (that is, in the order listed in the Selected pane of the Print dialog.)
A brief summary of the current print options for the highlighted report appears in an information pane in the Print dialog.
Opens the Options dialog for the highlighted report.
Note: The Options button is only available for the Transactions Report in Accountant's Assistant.
Opens the Select Printer dialog, which you may use to change your CSA default printer for printing reports in CSA and Accountant's Assistant.
You may either enter the number of copies (1-9) that you want to print, or click the arrows to the right of this field to increase or decrease the number of copies.
Note: If you require more than 9 copies of a report, you may select the report multiple times.
Displays the selected report(s) in the Print Preview window. When multiple reports are selected, they will appear in the order listed in the Selected pane of the Print dialog.
From the Print Preview window, you may do the following:
- Page forward or backward through each report.
- Scroll the display up or down to view the current page.
- Print the current page.
- Print all selected reports.
- Close the Print Preview window without printing any report.
Begins printing the selected reports on the printer specified at the top left portion of the Print dialog. (To choose a different printer, click the Printer button at the top right portion of the Print dialog.)
When multiple reports are selected, they will print in the order listed in the Selected pane of the Print dialog.
To Cabinet: If you are licensed for the FileCabinet CS and have selected not to print the reports to a printer, click this button to store a copy of the report in the FileCabinet.
To File: Sends the selected item to a PDF file that can be saved to you local or network drive, or sent via email as an attachment. (A subsequent dialog opens automatically for you to choose the folder location, email address, PDF file name, and additional options for the PDF file.).
