The AJE Diagnostics dialog shows how the selected automatic journal entry was computed by the application.
When the Transactions window is active, select Automatic Journal Entry Diagnostics from the Edit menu or from the F3 or right-click context menu.
Fields & buttons
Select an automatic journal entry reference from the drop-down list in the Reference field. The list includes the journal entry references of all automatic journal entries posted in the current period. The references are calculated in the order listed.
The Description field displays the journal entry description for the selected automatic journal entry.
Displays the journal to which the selected automatic journal entry is posted.
Displays the selected automatic journal entry diagnostic.
Note: The list will contain a message informing you if you have marked the Do not make automatic entries checkbox in the Transaction Options dialog.
Click the Print button to print the diagnostic message for the selected automatic journal entry.
