The Budget Options dialog appears during the closing of the GL period to the next year, after you choose the period end dates for the next year.

Fields & options

To specify how you want to handle budgets in the year to which you are advancing, choose one of the following options:

• Use future-year budgetary amounts for the new year

  If you entered budget amounts in the Future Year Budget column in the Chart of Accounts detail grid, they will be used for the budget amounts in the new year.

• Save budgetary amounts from the current year to be used in the new year
• Zero out the budgetary amounts from the year

  Zeros the budget column in the Chart of Accounts detail grid for the new year.
