The overall objective of the EasyACCT Batch Payroll conversion utility is to provide a comprehensive conversion of your data from EasyACCT Batch Payroll to Payroll CS or the Payroll Compliance module in CSA.

After creating or opening the client, choose Utilities > Data Conversion > EasyACCT > Batch Payroll.

Special information

• Due to differences in processing calculations and in data structures between EasyACCT and CSA, some information cannot be converted. Therefore, you should not expect to exactly duplicate results from EasyACCT using the converted data without adding or modifying the appropriate data in CSA. The specific items that cannot be converted and conversion exceptions are listed in the Conversion Notes and Exceptions section of the EasyACCT Batch Payroll to Payroll CS Conversion Guide (PDF).
• Payroll check information is not converted from EasyACCT to CSA. We recommend that you convert your client data at the beginning of a year or at the beginning of a new quarter after running your required quarterly reports in your previous payroll program. Because most SUTA report forms are calculated using check-based information, make sure the entire quarter's payroll has been processed in CSA whenever possible. Also, some manipulation of data in EasyACCT may be required prior to conversion.
