The overall objective of the Creative Solutions Accounting (CSA) Utilities > Import > ASCII File command is to provide a time-saving method of importing data from non-CS Professional Suite applications to CSA. The import process requires that all import files be structured according specific guidelines. Note that, although importing information can save time over reentering the data into CSA, the structuring of the import files is technical in nature and may be time-consuming.

After creating or opening the client in the CSA main window, choose Utilities > Import > ASCII File.
