The Utilities > Import command provides a time-saving method of importing data for a Trial Balance CS client from other software programs to CSA. The import process requires that all import files be structured according to specific guidelines. Note that, although importing information can save time over reentering the data into CSA, the structuring of the import ASCII files is technical in nature and may be time-consuming.

After creating or opening the client, choose Utilities > Import.

• For a Trial Balance CS-only client, the Utilities > Import command can import general ledger accounts with balances.
