You may use the Other tab of the Employees window to transfer changes made for the SUTA state or for FICA/FUTA/SUTA GL liability and expense accounts in employee records. You may also use this tab to transfer changes in standard hours and multipliers to all or selected employees.
When the Employees window is active, choose Transfer Changes to Employees from the Edit menu or from the F3 or right-click context menu, and then click the Other Items tab. Note that this command is enabled only in Browse mode (not in Add or Edit mode).
Fields & buttons
In the Transfer what groupbox, select the appropriate options from the drop-down lists in each of the following fields.
- Action. Choose to Add, Modify, Remove, or Find and Replace other items.
- SUTA State. Select the SUTA state for which changes are to be made.
- Replace with. If you are using the Find and Replace action, select the item that is to replace the original one.
- Other Items grid. Select or enter information in the Options column to transfer to one or more employee records.
- When adding information, enter or select the appropriate GL account in the Options column. This change will not overwrite existing account information in any employee record.
- When modifying information, mark the checkbox for each item that you wish to modify in the selected employee records and then enter or select the appropriate information in the Options column.
- When removing information, note that the Other Items tab in this dialog can be used to remove only a selected SUTA state (plus any related GL accounts) from other employee records.
- When performing a find and replace action, any of the states currently set up in Client Properties are available for selection from the Replace with drop-down list.
