Notes
- The Class field is a custom fieldview, which is similar to a regular fieldview or drop-down list, except that you determine the entries that appear in its drop-down list.
- If you are a registered user of InsurePay, the values in the Class field are determined by the valid class codes included in the consent file that you retrieve from InsurePay via CS Connect. You will not be able to add class codes for this client.
- Rate. Enter the applicable workers' compensation rate.
- State. Select the appropriate state from the drop-down list.
- Apply wage limit. (This checkbox is available only if California or Ohio is selected for the client in Payroll tab of the Client Properties dialog.) Mark this checkbox to apply a limit to the workers' compensation calculations. The limit is based on information entered in the Workers' Compensation dialog.
- Multi-class identifier (For an XactPAY client only.) For multiple-class employees, enter a digit to indicate that this pay item has a different class code than other pay items. For more information and an example, see Using XactPAY with Payroll CS (PDF). (Note that an active Internet connection is required to open this PDF in Adobe Reader.)
