This dialog can be used to specify that the selected employee is to use a federal, state, or local tax non-periodic percentage rate that differs from the calculation profile. When you set up a non-periodic tax percentage in this dialog, the program refers to it before looking to the Calculation Profile dialog. If nothing is entered here, the program will use the Calculation Profile setting.
When the Employees window is active and you are in Add or Edit mode (rather than Browse mode), choose Non-Periodic Tax Rates from the Edit menu or from the right-click context menu.

Fields & buttons
Normally, this field is blank and the program calculates federal withholding based on the current calculation profile. You can, however, enter a non-periodic percentage rate to be used for this employee.
During payroll check entry, the program will refers to this field before looking to the Calculation Profile dialog. If nothing is entered here, the program will use the Calculation Profile setting.
To specify a state tax non-periodic percentage rate that differs from the calculation profile, select the state and the appropriate percentage amount to be used for this employee.
Note that the only states available to select in the grid, are those set up in the Tax Withholdings and Deductions tab for this employee.
