Engagement CS enables you to insert any of the standard reports, financial statements, or transmittal letters from CSA directly into the current engagement.
Choose File > New > Document, click the Other tab, click the CSA Financial Statement, Transmittal Letter, or report option, and then click Continue. In the Reports tab of the Insert CSA Document dialog, select the reports to insert into the current engagement from the available list. Click the Insert button to make the selected reports available as a read-only documents in the current engagement.
Notes
- You may preview or print any group of financial statements, transmittal letters, or reports from within Engagement CS.
- Licensed users of FileCabinet CS: You can choose to send reports to FileCabinet CS.
- When inserting multiple documents to Engagement CS from CSA, the documents are combined and appear as a single document.

Printer (checkbox) and/or Store image in (checkbox)
Printer
To print the selected reports on the designated printer, mark the Printer checkbox.
(Defaults to your current Windows default printer.)
Click the Printer button to change your Windows default printer.
Store image in FileCabinet CS
If you are a licensed user of the FileCabinet CS application and FileCabinet CS is installed on your machine, you may mark the Store image in FileCabinet CS checkbox to store an electronic copy of the selected report(s) in your FileCabinet folder.
Lists all reports available. Double-click a report to move it to the Selected pane for previewing or printing.
All reports that have been selected for printing are listing in this pane of the Print dialog.
Notes
- If you wish, you can select a report multiple times and choose different options for each instance of the report.
- When multiple reports are selected, they will print in selection order (that is, in the order listed in the Selected pane of the Print dialog.)
A brief summary of the current print options for the highlighted report appears in an information pane in the Print dialog.
Opens the Select Printer dialog, which you may use to change your default printer for printing reports in Engagement CS.
Opens the Options dialog for the highlighted report.
Notes
- To enable the Options button, select at least one report for printing.
- If the Save Report Options checkbox is marked on the Print tab of the Setup > User Preferences dialog, the option selections (when accessed from the Insert CSA Document dialog) are saved for the client. Otherwise, all print options return to their default settings when you close the Insert CSA Document dialog.
Opens the Profile dialog enabling you to define and save multiple "report profiles" (or printing templates), including specific reports, report options, and collation sequences.
Note: To enable the Profile button, select at least one report for printing.
Begins printing the selected reports on the printer specified at the top left portion of the Print dialog. (To choose a different printer, click the Printer button at the top right portion of the Print dialog.)
When multiple reports are selected, they will print in the order listed in the Selected pane of the Print dialog.
To Cabinet: If you are licensed for the FileCabinet CS and have selected not to print the reports to a printer, click this button to store a copy of the report in the FileCabinet.
Inserts the selected financial statements, transmittal letters or reports into the current engagement as a static (read-only) document.
Note: Documents are combined and appear as a single document when inserting multiple documents to Engagement CS from CSA.
