Use this dialog to define general properties for the current statement. Statement properties are saved within each statement and apply only to that statement. You can specify the statement's orientation, margins, page layout, rounding, and border.
In the Financial Statement Editor window, choose File > Properties.
Click the appropriate option to print the statement with portrait (default) or landscape orientation.
Choose the appropriate options to have the headers/footers print on all pages, all but the first page, or only the first page.
To round amounts on a statement, choose a rounding option appropriate for the selected statement. The client's Chart of Accounts mask determines which rounding option is available (Regular, Location).
Choose the account to which the rounding amount should be applied by selecting it from the drop-down list. If you are rounding Location amounts, choose a combined account.
In cases where balance sheet accounts contain a mix of combined and regular accounts, choose a second rounding account from the drop-down list in the Remainder account field to properly round any balance sheet accounts that are not combined accounts.
For users of Trial Balance CS
Rounding is based on the Report balance. If you use rounding when reporting on any other type of balance, your statement may not foot correctly.
You may specify top, bottom, left, and right margin widths between 0.25 and 2.50 inches.
To change the default margins, click the up/down arrows, or type the margin width in the appropriate fields.
To center the statement horizontally or vertically, mark the appropriate checkbox(es).
To print a border around a statement, choose one from the drop-down list. An illustration of the selected border is displayed below the Border field. To place a border around specific cells in the statement, highlight the appropriate cells and choose Format > Borders.
Choose a paper size from the drop-down list available in the Paper Size field.
