The client's Chart of Accounts mask determines which rounding option is available (Regular, Location).

If you mark the Always prompt for rounding options when creating new financial statements checkbox on the Statement Properties tab of the Setup > System Configuration > New Statement Defaults dialog, the program opens the Rounding Options dialog automatically when you create a new statement for a selected client.

Special information

  • To round amounts on a statement, choose a rounding option appropriate for the selected statement.
  • Choose the account to which the rounding amount should be applied by selecting it from the drop-down list. If you are rounding Location amounts, choose a combined account.
  • In cases where balance sheet accounts contain a mix of combined and regular accounts, choose a second rounding account from the drop-down list in the Remainder account field to properly round any balance sheet accounts that are not combined accounts.
