Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

The Indiana Supplemental Information dialog allows you to enter additional information unique to the Indiana form processing requirements.

Choose Utilities > Payroll Tax Processing and then either click the IN state flag icon on the shortcut bar or choose View > Indiana. Choose Setup > Supplemental Information when the Indiana payroll tax processing window is active.

Fields & buttons

  • Calculate interest/penalty. Mark this checkbox if you want the system to automatically calculate the interest and penalty amounts. When this checkbox is marked, the Interest and Penalty fields are unavailable.
  • Seasonal employer (checkbox). Mark this checkbox if this employer is a seasonal employer.
  • Seasonal indicator (SUTA file). This field is only available when the Seasonal employer checkbox is marked.
  • County. You must select a county from the drop-down list in order for the UC-1 scan line to calculate properly. Form UC-1 will not print until the scan line calculates properly.

    Note: Select the county in which the employer does business.

  • Code. This field populates automatically when a selection is made in the County field.

Enter the client's contact information in these fields.

  • Contact Name
  • Fax
  • Filing status. Select either Early Filer, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual status. If the preceding year's or anticipated current year's average monthly withholding is $1000 or more, the department will assign an "early filer" status.
  • Paid by EFT (checkbox)
  • Calculate penalty/interest. Mark this checkbox if you want the system to automatically calculate the penalty and interest amounts. When this checkbox is marked, the Penalty and Interest fields are unavailable.

Enter the following signature information:

  • Title
  • Date. Enter the date the form(s) were signed. If you chose to have the program automatically calculate penalty and interest amounts, this date will be used for calculations.
  • Suppress date on form. Mark this checkbox to omit the signature date from all forms.
