Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. For more information, see the following topics.

Payroll Compliance module

Use the Utilities > W-2 Form Processing dialog to specify the forms you wish to include for the currently selected client. Also use this dialog to choose print options, special variables, and the employees for whom you wish to print W-2 copies, as well as to select W-2 file creation.

Choose W-2 Form Processing from the Utilities menu and then specify the year.

Fields & buttons

Indicates the name of the currently selected or default printer.

Opens a dialog where you may select a different printer to use as your default printer.

If you are a licensed user of FileCabinet CS and FileCabinet CS is installed on your machine, you may mark this checkbox to store an electronic copy of the selected report(s) in your FileCabinet folder.

Opens the W-3 form in the Preview window.

Opens Copy A of the W-2 in the Preview window.

Note: You can also preview a federal or state summary by marking either (or both) checkboxes on the Print Options tab.
