Change to CS Support service hours

For licensed users of Accounting CS Workpapers

The Source Document Processing service of Accounting CS is not automatically included with Software as a Service (SaaS) access; the service includes either a per-client fee or an annual renewable fee for unlimited access. For pricing details, please contact your CS Sales representative.

In the Setup > Firm Information > Firm screen, click the Preferences tab, and then click the Ellipsis button in the Workpapers section.

Use the Source Document Processing sort options dialog to change the order in which source documents appear in the Engagement Binders Tree portlet after processing is complete.

Fields & buttons

Click the row selector button to the left of the applicable Document type to select a row and reorder it in the grid. You can also enter a different folder name in the Default Folder column for a selected document type to replace the original.

Click this button to restore the default folder mapping order.

Arrow Up arrow button Down arrow button buttons. Use the arrow buttons to change the sort order of the selected item in the grid.

Mark the Group K-1s checkbox to organize these forms as single PDFs in the engagement binder. Clear the checkboxes (default setting) to organize K-1s as single-page PDFs based on the form type of each page.

Mark the Group brokerage forms checkbox to organize brokerage pages of different types into a single PDF (Brokerage statement) within the engagement binder. Clear the checkbox (default setting) to organize brokerage pages as single-page PDFs based on the form type of each page.

Mark the Automatically sort Tax Organizer checkbox in the Tax Organizer Sort Options section to create single-page PDFs based on the document type and automatically organize them into the folders mapped in the grid. Leave the checkbox cleared (default) to create a single PDF that contains all of the items from the tax organizer in the binder's folder location that is mapped in the grid. Items in the grid cannot be modified when the checkbox is cleared.
