To import GoFileRoom documents as workpapers, follow these steps.

  1. Click the Workpapers tab.
  2. Click the folder to which you will import the GoFileRoom document.
  3. Click the Add Workpaper Add workpaper button button in the ribbon.
  4. Choose GoFileRoom from the drop-down list for the Source field and click Next.
  5. Mark the checkboxes for the documents that you want to import and click Next.

    Only GoFileRoom documents that are indexed with the same properties as the current engagement will appear in the Add Workpaper dialog and GoFileRoom documents to be imported must be indexed as a Workpapers document type. In addition, the File Section, Year, and Period End engagement properties must match to the corresponding index in the GoFileRoom document.

    Use the Preferences Preferences button button in the Add Workpaper dialog to specify whether to include in the workspace view the documents in AdvanceFlow associated with the current engagement or to include documents in AdvanceFlow associated with other engagements.

  6. Enter reference and description information for the workpaper.
  7. Click OK.
